What to expect when we meet
We follow up-to-date, clinical guidelines to guide you through 4 phases of care. Our first session will be 60 to 90 minutes long, and we will emerge from this meeting with a diagnosis and a plan for treatment. This meeting is long enough for you to feel comfortable with me and to get a comprehensive assessment of your needs.

01
Acute Care Phase
In the follow-up meetings, we will monitor your progress and check if the care plan is working. The care plan will be continuously updated in response to emerging needs or new goals. Medications may need to be adjusted to suit your response to them. Therapies may need to be added or changed. During this phase, expect to meet frequently as changes are being made to your treatment plan. Once we are confident that you are in a good place and your symptoms have improved or gone away, we can move into the maintenance phase.

02
Maintenance phase
In the maintenance phase, our visits will be less frequent and you can expect medication prescribed for longer periods of time. During his period, we will check in periodically to make sure that you are feeling and functioning well. We will remain vigilant for changes and emerging needs, and we remain available should you need us.
03
Discontinuation phase
Over time, as you experience stability in your emotional health and you feel good about where you are, you can consider moving to the ending of care/discontinuation phase. We may be able to formulate a plan to wean you off of medication completely, or you may be able to receive medication from your primary care provider if your medications no longer need changes and you feel well. You may decide to check in from time to time in the future, or if you feel that you need some additional support.
